Tom Smith has worked with network based software applications and communications for 30 years.   Initially as a developer and then product manager and the last 12 years as entrepreneur.  Software solutions have been developed for topics ranging from Oil and Gas statistical analysis tools, to Sales Force Automation and today focus on use of IP networks and Web 2.0 / Cloud Computing architectures.. He formally entered the field of tele-communications 1998 as a pioneer adopter of VoIP technology. Was a early reseller of the first commercially available IP-PBX system (VoIP). and during that time brought to market – HomeGATE, an IP enabled and voice driven internet portal wireless residential phone system. Today, he keeps TechEn enterprises at the forefront of Google’s Web 2.0 Cloud Computing architecture and rich mix of Web 2.0 type services – using Google Apps as the focus and the foundation.
