Online Marketing Strategies On A Shoestring Budget

Cherish Flieder, Natalie Marlett and Arif Gangji will be among a panel, teaching online marketing strategies including how to socially market a business on a shoestring budget. This is a special event organized by the Design to Print Denver Media Group and the Colorado Alliance of Illustrators.

The audience will gain strategies, tactics, tools and tips to optimize their social media marketing efforts in conjunction with their website. Social media marketing, just like a website, can be so much more than just an online brochure. Optimizing their social media correctly, using free and low-cost tools and strategies, website owners can dominate the first page of search engine results. This is extremely important because if businesses are not on the first page of search results, they do not exist on the Internet. These strategies will insert them in the optimal phase of their target consumers’ searches and will drive more qualified, buying traffic to their site.

Arif Gangji has been hacking his way through the web since 1996 and has been a founding member of 6 startups so far.  Arif is currently the Managing Partner at Neon Rain Interactive – a Denver based Web Development and Internet Marketing firm with offices in Vancouver, BC.  Neon Rain was ranked in the Top 10 Web Development Firms by the Denver Business Journal in 2008 and 2009.  Arif has worked with companies such as Subway, HP, Roadgear, Salvation Army, Mr. Food, and the Province of British Columbia.  Arif also sits on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Business Leaders group and is ramping up a video blog called Entrelicious.com which helps guide budding Entrepreneurs through the mountain tops and valleys of the entrepreneurial journey.

Natalie Marlett’s particular expertise is optimizing social media platforms so clients can gain ranking in the search engines under their best keywords.
